YOUR TASK
This is your final week of your environmental unit. This week you are to think back over the past 6 weeks and apply all the information in which you have learnt. Your challenge this week is to work in your chosen groups to come up with a solution to any of the problems which you have investigated over the past 6 weeks.
1. Recycling

3. Water and energy
4. Carbon footprint

In your groups you are to implement the solution in which your groups come up with and document this in any of the ICT tools in which you have used over the past 6 weeks.

Week 6

YOUR TASK 
This week your task is to investigate what food miles is. After you have finished researching all your information, you are to create a wiki. This wiki is to contain all the information you have discovered and explain ways in which your group could reduce food miles in your school. Please remember to post your task into your weekly blog.

ASSISTANCE 
Remember to be creative, think outside the box and complete the task to the best of your ability. Keep in mind that you only have 1 week left of your environmental unit.

Week 5

YOUR TASK 
You're now coming into week five and this week you are to investigate how you can reduce your carbon footprint. You are to create a ZooBurst which relays the information they have found and how it effects the environment. You are also going to calculate your own carbon footprint.

Week 4

YOUR TASK
This week in your chosen groups, you are to investigate different ways in which you can reduce water and energy use within your school. You are to create either an AudioBoo or a Podcast and provide all the important information which you have discovered. Remember to post your weekly tasks into your blog.

Week 3

YOUR TASK
This week you are to research ideas about what you can do with waste around the school. Discuss in your groups how waste can effect the environment. Your are to create a Glogster which contains all the information which you have investigated.

Week 2

YOUR TASK 
Research information about why it is important to recycle and promote this around the school by creating a Prezi or a PowerPoint presentation. Each group has been allocated a different year level to direct their presentation towards. Remember to be creative and use catchy slogans.

Week 1

Hello students, welcome to week one.

You're currently in week one of your environmental unit. As you are all aware, your first task is to create a blog, like this one here and use it to post your tasks into each week. After you have completed this you have also been asked to do some research in your groups. 

This is what you need to discover:

2. How this can be prevented?
3. Through your investigations, what can you do to keep your school environmentally friendly?
